GMS EXTRA-CURRICULAR DRAMA 2016-2017

In addition to our Drama curriculum, offered each term for every grade level, Gray Middle School offers a rich history of extra-curricular theatrical productions including a fall play and a spring musical.  Last spring debuted our first ever student directed play which is rarely seen at this, or even a high school level.  The interest generated among our students demonstrates their desire for experiential and creative challenges, a sense of purpose, and responsibility, which theatre provides. The benefits of such an extensive program helps students build their social, communication, and creative thinking skills, and has been shown to improve self-esteem as well as confidence in their academic abilities.
